GTA IV Downloadable Content Announced, Dated

USA Today reports that Rockstar has given details regarding new Grand Theft Auto IV downloadable content. It will be titled "Lost and Damned" and the player will assume the role of biker Johnny Klebitz. The release date is scheduled for February 17th, 2009.

"Johnny is a very different character than Niko, with a very different background," says Dan Houser, vice president of creative development for Rockstar Games. "I can't go into too much detail on the story, because we try not to give away too much plot before the game is released. But I can say that the story will show you a different side of Liberty City."

No price point has been set but odds are good it will be in the $15-20 range. For that much money there better be more interiors, new weapons, and for god's sake, more cheat codes. GTA life after the missions is nothing without some good world-altering codes. Where's "pedestrians riot" or "high jump" or "lock wanted level?" I'd pay $10 for those alone. So far this content has only been announced for Xbox 360.
