WoW Breaks its Own Record with WOTLK

In news that's not actually news to anyone, World of Warcraft is insanely popular. The release of expansion pack Wrath of the Lich King on November 13th set the record for first-day PC game sales with an astounding 2.8 million copies. Remember that they set the previous record as well with The Burning Crusade, selling 2.4 million in the first 24 hours.

You'd think with Blizzard essentially holding a license to print money with the WoW brand, and their disinterest in consoles, someone would look into a solid console-based MMO. Or maybe that's just me.
